ECHL announces fines, suspension

 

PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL on Friday announced the following fines and suspension.

Las Vegas’ Hughesman fined, suspended

Las Vegas’ Adam Hughesman has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #274, Las Vegas at Colorado, on Dec. 12.

Hughesman is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline.

Hughesman will miss Las Vegas’ games vs. Bakersfield (Dec. 16) and at Ontario (Dec. 19).

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.

Wheeling’s Hotham fined

Wheeling’s Andrew Hotham has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #272, Wheeling at Toledo, on Dec. 12.

Hotham was assessed a minor penalty under Rule #9.5 – mouthguard violation at 13:33 of the second period.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
