Idaho's Hince named Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week
PRINCETON, N.J. – Bryan Hince of the Idaho Steelheads is the Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week for March 26-31.
The 25-year-old was 2-0-0 with a 2.00 goals-against average and a save percentage of .931 in two appearances for the Steelheads last week.
Hince opened the week with 22 saves in a 2-1 win against Stockton on Friday, and followed that up with 32 saves in a 4-3 victory over the Thunder on Saturday.
A native of Kapukasing, Ontario, Hince has appeared in 12 games this season with Idaho and Greenville posting an overall record of 8-1-0 with a 2.79 goals-against average and a save percentage of .909. He has also appeared in 18 games with Knoxville of the Southern Professional Hockey League this season where he went 16-1-0 with a 2.43 goals-against average and a save percentage of .919.
Runner Up: Daren Machesney, South Carolina (2-0-0, 2.00 GAA, .931 save pct.).
