Quick registered career-highs in games (64), goals (3) and points (17) with the Stingrays last season and was named the ninth captain in team history on February 11, 2013. The Buffalo, New York, native also skated three games in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Rockford IceHogs adding no points.
In 116 career ECHL contests with the Augusta Lynx, Florida Everblades and the Stingrays, Quick totaled 33 points (five goals, 28 assists) and helped the Everblades capture the Kelly Cup Championship in 2012. A third-round (78th overall) draft pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2006 National Hockey League Entry Draft, the 6-foot, 181-pound defenseman appeared in 173 games over three seasons with their AHL affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals, netting 34 points (one goal, 33 assists). On January 13, 2009, the Quick made his NHL debut with the Lightning and skated in six total games earning one assist.
