The K-Wings ability to recruit leaders continues with the signing of Bourbeau. For the past three seasons Bourbeau a team captain for the Elmira Jackals

Entering his seventh season of professional hockey, Bourbeau has helped his team to a playoff in five of his previous seasons. Two seasons ago Bourbeau established a new personal career-high for points in a season with 38 (20 goals, 18 assists).

Besides lacing up his skates for the Jackals, Bourbeau has played in the AHL with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, Adirondack Phantoms and the Binghamton Senators. The native of Bonnyville, Alberta was also a member of the CHL’s Odessa Jackalopes.

Bourbeau played junior hockey with the Grande Prairie Storm of the Alberta Junior Hockey League, winning the league championship in 2004. Following his time in Juniors, Bourbeau went on to play four seasons (2004-2008) collegiately at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
