Profile: 2006-07-- Played his first year of juniors in Indianapolis for the Indiana Ice appearing in 23 games. 2007-08-- Posted a 2.05 goals-against average in 51 NAHL games for Fairbanks to earn the NAHL Goaltender of the Year Award. Also named to the All-South Division Team, a First Team All-Star and the NAHL's Most Valuable Player of the Year. 2008-09-- Made his college debut with Miami of Ohio in the CCHA. 2009-10-- Registered a college career best, and nationwide best 1.87 goals-against average and named the NCAA (CCHA) Player of the Year, Best Goaltender, was an NCAA Hobey Baker Award Finalist and was named a First Team All-Star in addition to earning a spot on the NCAA (West) Second All-American Team. 2010-11-- Backstopped Miami of Ohio to the NCAA (CCHA) Championship. 2011-12-- Named to the Senior Class All-American Second Team following his fourth season with Miami of Ohio. 2012-13-- Shared his pro debut season with Stockton (27 games) in the ECHL and the AHL's Houston Aeros (seven games). 2013-14-- Traded from Stockton ECHL to Florida for future considerations before being traded to Fort Wayne for future considerations 8/21/13.
Reichard was also recognized for his humanitarian efforts in college with the founding of "Swoop's Stoop", which enabled sick children to attend Miami-Ohio hockey games and had players visit children at the local Children's Hospital.
