Biography

This is his 14th pro season and his second with the IceMen. In 2011-12, fashioned 36-points in 65-games on 12-goals, 24-assists with 50-PIM. Stellar +8 rating tied for second best on the Evansville club. Goal output matched Matt Gens for team’s top perch among defensemen and his 7-PPG were also tied for second most for the IceMen and second most for all CHL defensemen. Topped all CHL defensemen in SHA with 4, ranking circuit second overall. Ranked CHL league runner-up in goal-scoring shooting percentage among the back-liners at 12/86 for an efficiency rating of 14%. Finished 12th overall in scoring among CHL defensemen. Captured the IceMen second annual Players’ Player Award for his team leadership and professionalism. Prior to his Evansville arrival, saw significant action for 5-years in the AHL namely with Grand Rapids and Hamilton. With the latter club, he was actually under contract with the NHL Montreal Canadiens. Starred in Muskegon for three more seasons. In 2001-02, sparked the Fury to their second of four League Championships over a 6-year span and in 2006-07, he spurred the same team to the league division crown while achieving his best individual prolific performance, amassing 67-points in 75-games on 18-goals, 49-assists and brilliant +38 rating. Finished second league-wide in defense scoring in that season as well as #2 in the league for best plus player. Pro career numbers: 848-games; 113-goals; 314-assists; 427-points; 667-PIM.
