Biography
This is his fourth pro season and his first with the IceMen in Evansville. Coming off his best season ever in the pro ranks in 2011-12, earning a berth in the CHL All-Star Game. Last season, his lone season with CHL Arizona, registered 14-points in 60-games on 3-goals, 11-assists with 40-PIM. Most impressive achievement was his team-high +4 rating, being the lone member of the last place Arizona club to have a plus rating. Each of his 3-goals was also of major significance with 2 scored on the power play and the third one coming in a shorthanded situation. Actually spent the 2010-11 season in Canadian college at Mount Royal College where he thrived, averaging nearly a point a game and spearheading his team to the ACAC League Championship. Before originally turning pro, saw action for two seasons in the CHL with Rio Grande Valley where in 89-games; 89(1-12-13) 62-PIM. In junior ’A’ played in the AJHL with the Okotoks Oilers for three productive years, attaining First Team All-Star status in all three seasons with the Oilers while being named AJHL Best Defenseman in 2006-07; Team choice for Best Defenseman in 2007-08 and finishing runner-up league-wide for same award. Named team captain of Oilers in same 2007-08 season.
