Biography

Courtnall wrapped up a three-year career at Boston University adding seven goals and six assists for 13 points over 92 games. Before joining the NCAA ranks, the Victoria, British Columbia, native played four seasons of junior hockey in the BCHL with Victoria Salsa, Burnaby Express and Victoria Grizzlies grabbing 128 points (46 goals, 82 assists) in 184 contests. In 2007, Courtnall was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the seventh round (210th overall) in the NHL Entry Draft.
