Biography

Hunwick recently appeared in four games with EC Salzburg in Austria earning a 2.64 goals-against average and .925 save percentage. Last season, the Sterling Heights, Michigan, product completed a five-year collegiate career at the University of Michigan and skated in one contest (three minutes, no shots/saves) with the Columbus Blue Jackets of the NHL. With the Wolverines, Hunwick registered a 54-24-7 record, 10 shutouts, a 2.06 goals-against average, a .928 save percentage and was a Hobey Baker Award finalist in 2012 for the top collegiate player.
