Biography

This is his initial pro campaign, having been assigned to the IceMen by NHL affiliate, the Columbus Blue Jackets on 10/27/12. Selected by Columbus in the fifth round, 124th overall in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Assigned at the start of the current campaign to Springfield from Columbus. Four-year standout in the major junior ‘A’ with the Calgary Hitmen and Kamloops Blazers. Enjoyed an outstanding final season in 2011-12 at Kamloops where he authored 50-points in 70-games on 13-goals, 37-assists with 87-PIM. His +20 rating was the best on the club. In the playoffs; 9(0-7-7) 12-PIM. His WHL career numbers: 238-games; 29-goals; 84-assists; 113-points with 281-PIM.
