Biography

Neal joins the K-Wings after starting the season with the Cincinnati Cyclones. A fifth round (149th Overall) selection of the Dallas Stars in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, Neal is in his sixth season of professional hockey. Last season, Neal appeared in 56 regular season games with the Bakersfield Condors, notching 32 points (16 goals, 16 assists) to finished seventh on the team in scoring. Before last season’s playoffs, Neal was claimed by the Las Vegas Wranglers and appeared in four games. Neal has also spent time in the ECHL with the Idaho Steelheads and the Orlando Solar Bears. In his career, Neal has also played in 22 games in the AHL with the Texas Stars.

Before turning pro, Neal played four seasons in the OHL, primarily with the Belleville Bulls totaling 33 points (14 goals and 19 assists). Neal is the younger brother of Nashville Predators forward James Neal.
