He played four seasons collegiately at Colgate, where Dekanich turned in a 52-45-16 ledger with eleven shutouts. He had a 2.25 goals against average and a .923 save percentage. Mark holds the Colgate record for career save percentage (.923) and is second in goals against (2.25) and has the third-most wins (52). He holds ten of Colgate’s school records for goaltending.
