Biography
Career Notes: Invited to 2010 Rochester Americans training camp and earned contract out of camp. Skated in two games on an ATO w/Adirondack in 09-10 after finishing college career. Played four seasons collegiately at Western Michigan University, the same school that Road Warriors president/general manager Neil Smith played for. Majored in business finance. Prior to WMU played two seasons with USHL’s Chicago Steel and amassed 71 points (38G, 33A) and 269 penalty minutes in 111 games. Younger brother of Adirondack Phantoms forward Matt Clackson.
Season Notes: ECHL rights acquired from CIN in exchange for Paul McIlveen on 2/8/11. Had points in back to back games on 10/9 and 10/10/10 to begin season with Rochester. Loaned to CIN by Rochester on 11/24/10. Registered “Gordie Howe Hat Trick” on 11/28/10 at TRE. Scored first goal as a Road Warrior 2/12/11 at KAL. Recorded goals in back-to-back games on 2/19 and 2/20/11. Called up to Rochester 2/27/11. Loaned to GRW 3/7/11. Had a seven-game point streak (4G, 4A) from 2/19/11 to 3/13/11.
In 2011-12 played 31 games for Gwinnett Gladiators and earned 23 points (10 G, 13A), skated in one game with the Rochester Americans and played in 28 games with the Houston Aeros and earned 2 points (1G, 1A).
