Biography

This is his second season in the pro ranks and his initial campaign in the ECHL. Acquired by the IceMen from the Cincinnati Cyclones on 10/31/12. Played in 2-games for Cincinnati; 2(0-0-0) 2-PIM prior to his arrival in Evansville. Selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the fourth round, 120th overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Spent his entire rookie season of 2011-12 in the AHL with the Worcester Sharks, the principal affiliate of the NHL San Jose Sharks. Fourth leading scorer for Worcester last season with 72(12-20-32) and 149-PIM. Actually saw his initial pro action at the conclusion of the 2010-11 season in the CHL, playing for the President’s Cup Champions, the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs, joining the team immediately upon completion of his major junior ‘A’ eligibility in the OHL with the Kingston Frontenacs. Achieved outstanding five-year career in Kingston, topping his club in scoring in the last four years in a row; leading his team in goals three times and assists 4-times. In his latter two years in Kingston, also led his team in playoff point-production. For his junior career: 316-games; 139-goals; 193-assists; 332-points. IceMen debut 11/2/11 at home against Wheeling.
