As part of the ECHL’s 25th anniversary, each week the League will take a look back at important moments in ECHL history.
Nov. 10, 1990 – Johnstown sets an ECHL record for goals in a period, scoring nine times against Cincinnati.
Nov. 10, 1999 – Dave Van Drunen becomes the first player to play in both the ECHL and the NHL in the same season. Van Drunen started the season with Mobile, and made his NHL debut with the Ottawa Senators on this date.
