Toledo, Ohio - Forwards Tylor Spink and Tyson Spink have each agreed to terms with the Toledo Walleye for the 2016-17 season.
The Walleye are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Detroit Red Wings and the American Hockey League's Gran Rapids Griffins.
The twin brothers each skated with the Walleye to finish last season with Tylor posting nine points (2g-7a) with a +9 and Tyson collecting four points (2g-2a) over five contests in the regular season. Tylor picked up another 7 points (2g-5a) with Tyson collecting four assists in seven playoff games.
Over the last four years, the brothers played for Colgate University. Tylor collected 115 points (47g-68a) over 133 contests for the Raiders and was named to the ECAC All-Rookie Team in 2012-13 with 31 points (13g-18a). Last year, the 23-year-old set a career-best with 21 assists and 34 points.
Tyson appeared in 148 games over the last four years at Colgate with 128 points (45g-83a). He led the Raiders in scoring with 33 points (10g-23a) during the 2013-14 season. In 2015-16, he led Colgate for a third consecutive season by posting a career-best 37 points (14g-23a).
