Dyson Stevenson of the Wichita Thunder is the Inglasco ECHL Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 15-21.
Stevenson scored four goals, assisted on another and was a +4 in two games last week.
The 25-year-old scored a pair of goals in a 6-5 win against Allen on Friday and added two more goals, including the game-winning tally, in a 4-1 victory at Allen on Saturday.
A native of Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, Stevenson has posted five points (4g-1a) in four games this season and is tied for fourth in the league with four goals.
Stevenson has tallied 107 points (45g-62a) in 244 career ECHL games with Wichita, Allen, Gwinnett and Bakersfield. He has also appeared in six career American Hockey League games with Portland and Bridgeport.
Prior to turning pro, he recorded 168 points (75g-93a) in 252 career games with Regina of the Western Hockey League.
On behalf of Dyson Stevenson, a case of pucks will be donated to a Wichita youth hockey organization by Inglasco, the exclusive puck supplier of the ECHL. Since beginning its sponsorship of the award in 2000-01, Inglasco has donated more than 39,000 pucks to youth hockey organizations in ECHL cities.
