Glens Falls, N.Y. – The Adirondack Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced that the team has signed forward Peter MacArthur to a contract for the 2018-19 season.

MacArthur, 33, was the Thunder's leading scorer during the 2016-17 campaign when he registered 63 points (24g-39a) in 63 games. The Clifton Park, New York native debuted for Adirondack the season before in December 2015 and finished his first year with the Thunder player with 36 points (8g-28a) in 46 games.

MacArthur returns to Adirondack after having played last season for the Allen Americans. He played in 22 games, recording 13 points (5g-8a) before an injury cut his season short.

Before his time overseas, MacArthur collected 86 points (29g-57a) in 190 American Hockey League games with Bridgeport, Rockford, San Antonio, Peoria and Lake Erie, in addition to 52 points (18g-34a) in 41 ECHL games with Fresno and Las Vegas.
