Finn returns to Everblades blue line

Finn returns to Everblades blue line

ESTERO, Fla. – Florida Everblades President & General Manager Craig Brush, along with Head Coach Brad Ralph, announced that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Matt Finn for the 2018-19 season.

The Everblades are the ECHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League and the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League.

Finn, 24, returns for his second season with the Everblades after he registered three assists in eight games last season. He also logged an assist in seven appearances last season with Charlotte. 

Prior to his time with the Everblades, Finn posted 32 points (11g-21a) and 23 penalty minutes in 53 games with the Missouri Mavericks during the 2016-17 season.

The Toronto native has totaled 18 points (7g-11a) in 70 career AHL games split between the Toronto Marlies (2014-15), Bridgeport Sound Tigers (2015-2017) and Charlotte Checkers (2017-18).
