BOISE, Idaho – Goaltender Jake Kupsky has agreed to terms with the Idaho Steelheads for the 2020-21 season.
Kupsky, 24, joined the Steelheads for two games during the 2019-20 campaign compiling a 1-1-0 record with a 1.98 goals-against average.
Following his stint with the Steelheads, the Waukesha, Wisconsin native went on to play six games for the Greenville Swamp Rabbits in which he put up a 3-1-1 record with a 2.20 goals-against average. He also saw action last season with Pensacola of the Southern Professional Hockey League.
Prior to his professional career, Kupsky played four seasons at Union College posting a 23-22-5 record in 59 career games with a 2.86 goals-against average and .900 save percentage. He earned All-ECAC Hockey Third Team honors in 2017-18 season and was named to the Mike Richter Award Watch List in 2018-19. Kupsky was selected in the seventh round (193rd overall) by the San Jose Sharks in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
