INDEPENDENCE, M0. – The Kansas City Mavericks have signed forwards Geoff Kitt and Austin Alger for the 2022-23 season.
Kitt completed his collegiate career at Mercyhurst University, where he recorded 30 points (11g-19a) in 123 games. Last season as a senior, Kitt 12 points (3g-9a) in 35 games while serving as team captain.
Alger played at Canisius College from 2018-22, totaling 77 points (31g-46a) in 121 career games. In his senior season, Alger posted 21 points (10g-11a) in 33 games and was an alternate captain. Following the completion of his senior season, Alger made his professional debut with the Idaho Steelheads, scoring one goal in five games.
