Gagnon, Finlay join Americans

ALLEN, Texas - The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Ottawa Senators and American Hockey League's Belleville Senators, announced the signing of Ryan Gagnon and Liam Finlay.

Gagnon joins the Americans after playing the last four seasons at the University of Calgary. He had his best season of collegiate hockey last year with 15 points (2g-13a) in 18 games. Prior to enrolling in college, he had five seasons of major junior hockey in the Western Hockey League with the Victoria Royals.

Finlay spent the last two seasons in Europe, averaging just under a point-per-game last season in the DEL-2 with Frieburg. The Kelowna, British Columbia native played his college hockey at the University of Denver, where he led his team in scoring in 2019-20.
