KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo Wings, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks, announced that defenseman Kurt Gosselin has been signed to a contract for the 2023-24 season.
Gosselin enters his third professional season after totaling 13 points (7g-6a) and 50 penalty minutes in 45 games with Toledo and Kalamazoo last season.
The 28 year-old began the season with three goals in 18 games for the Walleye before being traded ot the K-Wings in February, where he had 10 points (4g-6a) in 27 games.
The Brighton, Michigan native played his college hockey at the University of Alabama-Huntsville from 2015-19, scoring 58 points (20g-38a) in 118 games.
Immediately following Gosselin’s senior season with the Chargers in 2019, he played 15 games combined with the Cincinnati Cyclones and the American Hockey League's Rochester Americans. Gosselin returned to Cincinnati in 2019-20, recording 18 points (6g-12a) in 47 games.
