Greenville, S.C. – The Greenville Swamp Rabbits, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's New York Rangers and the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack, announced the team has re-signed forward Andrew Dommett for the 2016-17 season.Dommett, 25, began his professional career with the Swamp Rabbits last season and notched eight points (4g-4a) and 51 penalty minutes in 38 games. He scored his first pro goal on Jan. 3 at Manchester. Prior to turning pro, Dommett played four seasons of college hockey at Lake Superior State University from 2011-15. In 128 appearances, the Major, Saskatchewan native produced 17 points (9g-8a) and 61 penalty minutes for the Lakers. He spent two seasons alongside Swamp Rabbits forward Matt Johnson who was re-signed on June 24. The 5'11, 192-pound forward also played four seasons with the Kindersley Klippers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League from 2007-11.
