Glens Falls, N.Y. – The Adirondack Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, announced that they have signed forward Dana Fraser to a standard player contract.Fraser, 26, is the third member of the 2015-16 Thunder roster to return for a second season, after the forward collected 19 points (9g-10a) in 57 regular-season contests a season ago, his first as a professional. Fraser also appeared in all 12 postseason contests with the Thunder, where he collected two goals, including the game-winning goal in Game 1 against South Carolina in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The center played on both the power play and penalty kill as a rookie and led the team in faceoff percentage during the regular season.Prior to beginning his professional career, Fraser played five seasons of collegiate hockey, including four at the University of Prince Edward Island and one at the University of New Brunswick. The Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia native skated four seasons with the University of Prince Edward Island from 2010-14, where he collected 68 points (24g-42a) over 95 games played. Fraser then skated 12 games with the University of New Brunswick as a fifth-year player, where he was over a point-per-game with 14 points (10g-4a).
