BRAMPTON, Ontario - The Brampton Beast, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens and AHL's St. John's IceCaps, have announced that the club has agreed to terms with Scott Jacklin.
Jacklin hails from Kimberley, British Columbia and will be entering his second full season in the ECHL. Last season, he split his time between the Elmira Jackals and the Beast. The 26-year-old left winger started last season with the Jackals and played in 16 games with the club, picking up 10 points (5g-5a) as well as 12 penalty minutes. He appeared in 30 games as a member of the Beast after being acquired from the Jackals on Dec. 11, recording 11 points (3g-8a).
Prior to starting his professional career last season, Jacklin played Dfour seasons at Robert Morris University, tallying 107 points (48g-59a) in 143 career games.
