Wichita, Kan. - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators, announced that defenseman Landon Oslanski has re-signed for the 2016-17 season.
Oslanski returns for his second season in Wichita after being acquired in a trade last December. He finished tied for third in the ECHL with 10 power play goals, eight of which were recorded in Wichita. His efforts earned him the team's Defenseman of the Year Award.
Oslanski was selected to the 2014-15 ECHL All-Star Game after splitting time with Rapid City, Missouri and Alaska. Prior to turning pro, the 24-year-old blueliner spent five seasons in the WHL between Spokane, Lethbridge and Everett. He finished his junior career with 118 points (33g, 85a) in 279 games.
