Allen, Texas – The two-time defending Kelly Cup champion Allen Americans, ECHL Affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, announced the team has re-signed forward Dyson Stevenson for the 2016-17 season.

Stevenson is returning to Allen for a third season with the Americans. He had a career-high 25 points (8g-17a) last season, while continuing to play a big role on the Americans top penalty-kill unit.

Prior to Allen, he played four games with Bakersfield at the end of the 2013-14 season, following a four-year junior career with Regina of the Western Hockey League. He played one season with the Gwinnett Gladiators, along with six games in the American Hockey League between Portland and Bridgeport.
