ESTERO, Fla. – Florida Everblades President & General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced that the team has agreed to terms with forward Michael Kirkpatrickfor the 2016-17 season.
Kirkpatrick joins the Everblades after leading the Adirondack Thunder in scoring with 60 points (29g-31a) in 72 games last season. In addition, the 26-year-old center recorded nine points (2g-7a) in 12 playoff appearances with the Thunder this past spring.
Prior to his professional career, Kirkpatrick accumulated 102 points in four seasons at St. Francis Xavier University from 2011-15. The North Sydney, Nova Scotia native also totaled 251 points (108g-143a) during his four seasons with the Saint John Sea Dogs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Kirkpatrick was a member of Saint John’s 2011 Memorial Cup championship team.
