ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Toronto Marlies, have announced that the club has agreed to terms with forward Bryan Moore for the 2016-17 season.
Moore, 22, spent his rookie year in professional hockey within the Anaheim Ducks development system on an AHL contract with the San Diego Gulls. In 29 games with the Gulls, Moore logged seven points (2g-5a) and 35 penalty minutes.
Moore also skated in 19 games with San Diego's ECHL affiliate, the Utah Grizzlies, where he added 23 points (8g-15a) and 42 penalty minutes. During his time with Utah, Moore was named the Sher-wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week for Nov. 23-29.
Prior to turning pro, the Indian Trail, N.C. native played major junior hockey from 2012-14 with the Sarnia Sting and Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League. Moore logged 141 points (59g-82a) and 255 penalty minutes in 181 career OHL games.
Moore also spent time with the Sioux Falls Stampede of the United States Hockey League, accumulating 36 points (17g-19a) and 101 penalty minutes in 92 games.
