Cameron, Jacobs added to Gladiators roster

DULUTH, Ga. - Bryan Cameron and Colin Jacobs have agreed to terms with the Atlanta Gladiators for the 2016-17 season.

The Gladiators are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Boston Bruins and the American Hockey League's Providence Bruins.

Drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the third Round (82nd overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, Cameron joins the Gladiators after spending the 2015-16 season with the STS Sanok of the Polska Hojek Liga, Poland's top-level hockey league. In 13 games played, the Brampton, Ontario native scored 23 points (12g-11a). Prior to heading overseas, Cameron appeared in 148 career ECHL games, notching 103 points (41g-62a) with Victoria, Utah, San Francisco and Alaska. Additionaly, the 27-year-old spent time with the American Hockey League's Abbotsford Heat, earning 15 points (6g-9a) in 60 games during the 2010-11 season.

Jacobs, 23, comes to Atlanta after spending the past three seasons with the Elmira Jackals. In 123 career games with the Jackals, the Coppell, Texas native posted 47 points (21g-26a). Drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the fourthRound (107th overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Jacobs has spent time in each of the last four seasons with the AHL's Rochester Americans. Jacobs has tallied seven points (2g-5a) in 46 career AHL games.
