Eagles agree to terms with Bernhardt

Eagles agree to terms with Bernhardt

WINDSOR, Colo. – The Colorado Eagles, ECHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced that they have agreed to terms with forward Justin Bernhardt for the 2016-17 season.

Bernhardt posted 29 points (10g-19a) in 48 games with the Elmira Jackals during the 2015-16 season and has registered 105 points (41g-64a) in 174 career ECHL contests, including stints with the Wichita Thunder and Las Vegas Wranglers. In addition, Bernhardt also appeared in 14 AHL contests with the San Antonio Rampage during the 2009-10 campaign.

The Yorkton, Saskatchewan native enjoyed an accomplished career at the major-junior level, collecting 242 points in 307 Western Hockey League games with the Regina Pats, Kelowna Rockets and Prince Albert Raiders. During his final season in the WHL, Bernhardt notched 35 goals and 57 assists in 72 games with the Raiders, earning a spot on the WHL Second All-Star Team in the process.
