Wichita, Kan. - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators, announced the signing of forward Jack Rodewald to the roster for the 2016-17 season.
Rodewald begins his second full season as a pro after playing last year for the Orlando Solar Bears. In 62 games, the Winnipeg, Manitoba native recorded 47 points (18g-29a) and also appeared in seven games for the AHL's Toronto Marlies.
Prior to turning pro, the 22-year-old played under Thunder head coach Malcolm Cameron when he was a member of the WHL's Regina Pats in 2011-12 and 2012-13. His best season in the junior ranks came in 2014-15 when he piled up 85 points (35g-50a) in 71 games. He finished with 166 points (76g-90a) in 255 career games in the WHL.
