Wichita, Kan. - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators, announced the signing of forward Brad Cuzner for the 2016-17 season.
Cuzner enters his first professional season after spending the last four years at St. Francis Xavier University. The 24-year-old appeared in 105 games for the X-Men, collecting 33 points (17g-16a). Cuzner joins his former college teammate, Drew Owsley, in Wichita.
A native of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Cuzner played three seasons in the QMJHL with Cape Breton and Halifax. His best season came in 2011-12 when he netted 24 points (12g-12a) to go along with 61 penalty minutes.
