Everblades host Solar Bears in Game 7 tonight

The Florida Everblades host the Orlando Solar Bears tonight with a spot in the South Division Finals against South Carolina on the line. The 40th Game 7 in ECHL postseason history, and the 16th over the last three playoff seasons, faces off at 7:30 p.m. ET at Germain Arena and you can catch all of the action LIVE on ECHL.TV.

Florida forced the decisive game with a 6-4 win on Tuesday. The Everblades are the 13th team in ECHL postseason history to force a seventh game after trailing the series 3-1. Five previous teams who trailed 3-1 have come back to win the series.

Orlando is playing in a Game 7 for the first time in club history while Florida is participating in a Game 7 for the third time. The Everblades fell at Reading 4-1 in the 2013 Eastern Conference Semifinals and at home to Dayton, 3-1, in the 2007 American Conference Finals.

Tonight is the 40th Game 7 all-time in ECHL postseason history. The home team is 28-11 all-time in ECHL Game 7s and has won 15 of the last 19 Game 7s.
