Nowakowski agrees to terms with Cyclones

Cincinnati, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL affiliate of the American Hockey League's Rochester Americans and the National Hockey League's Buffalo Sabres, have re-signed forward Dylan Nowakowski for the 2017-18 season.

A native of Calgary, Alberta, Nowakowski appeared in 28 games for the Cyclones last season, accounting for eight points (5g-3a), along with a +8 rating.

He came to Cincinnati from the Huntsville Havoc of the Southern Professional Hockey League on Jan. 2, after leading the league with 25 points (14g-11a) in 23 games played at the time of his call-up.

Nowakowski turned pro late in the 2015-16 season, appearing in eight games with the Havoc and accounting for six points (2g-4a) in that time. Prior to turning pro, Nowakowski spent four seasons at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minn., where he skated in 110 games and totaled 119 points (40g-79a).
