Zion heads back to Beast

Zion heads back to Beast

BRAMPTON, Ontario - The Brampton Beast, ECHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, announced that Mitch Zion will be returning to the team for the 2017-18 season. 

Zion, 25, debuted with the Beast following his final season at Carleton University in 2015-16. In nine games played, he posted five points (1g-4a).

 Last season, he was limited to 15 games, scoring a pair of goals and adding one assist.

 Prior to turning pro, Zion enjoyed a three-year career at Carleton University, appearing in 77 career games for the Ravens, totaling 55 points (21g-34a).
