Cyclones agree to terms with Mike Barrett

Cyclones agree to terms with Mike Barrett

Cincinnati, Ohio -The Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL affiliate of the American Hockey League's Rochester Americans and the National Hockey League's Buffalo Sabres, have signed forward Michael Barrett for the 2017-18 season. 

Barrett recently wrapped up a successful collegiate career at the College of Holy Cross, accounting for 99 points (44g-55a) in 147 career games for the Crusaders. His best year offensively came during his senior year this past season, as he ranked second on the team and 18th in the conference in scoring with 27 points (11g-18a). He also served as an alternate captain during his senior season.

A native of Orland Park, Ill., Barrett spent his lone year of junior hockey with the New Jersey Hitmen of the Eastern Junior Hockey League, where he posted 28 points (6g-22a) in 34 games. He also led the team in playoff scoring that season, totaling 13 points (5g-8a) in eight games.
