Cyclones add De Fulviis, Jones

Cincinnati, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL affiliate of the American Hockey League's Rochester Americans and the National Hockey League's Buffalo Sabres, have re-signed forward Rob De Fulviis and signed goaltender Davis Jones to contracts for the 2017-18 season.

De Fulviis appeared in 26 games for the Cyclones last season, accounting for three points (1g-2a) along with 36 penalty minutes. He made his pro debut in 2015-16, skating in five games with the Wheeling Nailers and Indy Fuel.

Prior to turning pro, De Fulviis spent three seasons at the University of Guelph where he totaled 61 points (28g-33a) in 78 games played.

Jones is entering his first full pro season, after signing an Amateur Tryout Agreement with the Alaska Aces late last season.

He spent the previous four seasons at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, appearing in 67 games in that time. His best season statistically came during his senior year in 2016-17 where he posted a 2.72 goals-against average and a .972 save percentage in 20 games played.
