ESTERO, Fla. – Florida Everblades President & General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced that the team has agreed to terms with forward Quentin Shore for the 2017-18 season.
The Everblades are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes and the American Hockey League's Charlotte Checkers.
Shore joins the Everblades after posting 43 points (16g-25a) in 56 games during his rookie campaign with the Manchester Monarchs last season. In addition, the 23-year-old also recorded a goal in 13 appearances with the AHL's Ontario Reign.
Prior to his professional career, Shore totaled 98 points (40g-58a) in 151 collegiate games at the University of Denver from 2012-16. Shore helped lead the Pioneers to a National Collegiate Hockey Conference championship in 2014.
The Denver, Colo. native was a sixth-round draft selection of the Ottawa Senators in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
