ECHL announces fines, suspensions

ECHL announces fines, suspensions

The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fines and suspensions.

Allen’s Arseneau fined, suspended

Allen’s Vincent Arseneau has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #207, Allen at Idaho, on Nov. 24.

Arseneau is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of his actions at 15:16 of the second period.

Arseneau will miss Allen’s games at Idaho on Nov. 25 and vs. Rapid City on Dec. 1 and Dec. 2.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.

Idaho’s Parizek fined, suspended

Idaho’s Justin Parizek has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #207, Allen at Idaho, on Nov. 24.

Parziek is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of an unpenalized slew foot at 0:45 of the first period.

Parziek will miss Idaho’s game vs. Allen tonight (Nov. 25).

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.

Colorado’s Mychan fined, suspended

Colorado’s Jesse Mychan has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #209, Greenville at Colorado, on Nov. 24.

Mychan is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of his charging penalty at 8:12 of the first period.

Mychan will miss Colorado’s game vs. Greenville tonight (Nov. 24).

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
