As part of the season-long celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the Premier “AA” Hockey League, the ECHL on Friday announced it is conducting its 30th Anniversary Memories Contest.
To enter, ECHL fans are asked to submit a photo and description of their favorite ECHL memory from the past 30 Seasons for a chance to win a trip to the 2018 CCM/ECHL All-Star Classic in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Grand Prize winner will receive a VIP trip for two to the 2018 CCM/ECHL All-Star Classic which takes place January 14-15, 2018.
Contest Procedures:
*Fan memory submissions should relate to an ECHL Game, Event, Team, or Player
* Submissions will be evaluated for originality and uniqueness to determine the winner
* Submissions may be shared across ECHL Social Media and other digital media, but that will have no bearing on the eventual winner of the contest

About the ECHL
Began in 1988-89 with five teams in four states, the ECHL has grown into a coast-to-coast league with 27 teams in 21 states and one Canadian province for its 30th season in 2017-18. There have been who have gone on to play in the National Hockey League after starting their careers in the ECHL, including 10 who have made their NHL debuts in the 2017-18 season. The ECHL has affiliations with 26 of the 31 NHL teams in 2017-18, marking the 21st consecutive season that the league had affiliations with at least 20 teams in the NHL.
