The ECHL on Monday announced the following fines and suspensions.
Utah’s Puskar fined, suspended
Utah’s Jon Puskar has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #254, Utah at Colorado, on Dec. 2.
Puskar is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of an unpenalized act at 3:57 of the third period.
Puskar will miss Utah’s game vs. Idaho tonight (Dec. 4).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
Rapid City’s Sdao fined, suspended
Rapid City’s Michael Sdao has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #255, Rapid City at Allen, on Dec. 2.
Sdao was assessed a match penalty for an illegal check to the head of an opponent at 3:20 of the second period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline.
Sdao will miss Rapid City’s games vs. Colorado (Dec. 6) and at Colorado (Dec. 7 and Dec. 8).

Wheeling’s Taylor and Meurs, Reading’s Leduc suspended
The following suspensions stemming from ECHL Game #259, Reading at Wheeling, on Dec. 2 have been finalized.
Wheeling’s Jeff Taylor has been suspended for four additional games as a result of his game misconduct under for leaving the bench during an altercation under Rule #70.6 at 16:21 of the second period. Taylor missed Wheeling’s game vs. Fort Wayne on Dec. 3 and will miss games at Reading (Dec. 6), at Indy (Dec. 8), at Toledo (Dec. 9) and vs. Indy (Dec. 12).
Wheeling’s Garrett Meurs has been suspended for one additional game under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of his tripping infraction at 16:21 of the second period. Meurs missed Wheeling’s game vs. Fort Wayne on Dec. 3 and will miss the game at Reading on Dec. 6.
Reading’s Loic Leduc has been suspended for three games as a result of his game misconduct for physical abuse of an official (Category III) under Rule #40.4 at 16:21 of the second period. Leduc will miss Reading’s games vs. Wheeling (Dec. 6), at Adirondack (Dec. 8) and at Manchester (Dec. 9).
