The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fines and suspensions.
Greenville’s Herbert fined, suspended
Greenville’s Caleb Herbert has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #560, Greenville at Jacksonville, on Jan. 26.
Herbert is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of his actions at 18:03 of the second period.
Herbert will miss Greenville’s game at Jacksonville tonight (Jan. 27).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
Orlando’s Pospisil fined, suspended
Orlando’s Kristian Pospisil has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #558, Orlando at South Carolina, on Jan. 26.
Pospisil is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as the result of an unpenalized illegal check to the head infraction at 7:38 of the second period.
Pospisil will miss Orlando’s games at South Carolina (Jan. 27), at Atlanta (Jan. 28) and at South Carolina (Feb. 2).

Discipline from Idaho at Colorado game
The following fines and suspensions are all resulting from ECHL Game #549, Idaho at Colorado, on Jan. 26.
Idaho’s Corbin Baldwin has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of his actions at 5:58 of the second period. Baldwin was assessed a minor penalty for illegal check to the head under Rule #48.2, which following a review, was determined to be an elbow.
Baldwin will miss Idaho’s games at Colorado (Jan. 27) and at Utah (Jan. 31).
Idaho’s Jefferson Dahl has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of his match penalty for slew footing under Rule #52.2 at 15:38 of the third period.
Dahl will miss Idaho’s games at Colorado (Jan. 27) and at Utah (Jan. 31).
Idaho’s Brady Brassart and Colorado’s Joey Rattelle have each been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of their major penalties and game misconducts for cross checking under Rule #59.5.
