The ECHL on Friday announced the following fines and suspensions.
Idaho’s Parizek fined, suspended
Idaho’s Justin Parizek has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #704, Idaho at Rapid City, on Feb. 21.
Parizek is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of a cross-checking infraction at 11:38 of the first period.
Parizek will miss Idaho’s games at Rapid City on Feb. 23 and Feb. 24.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
Quad City’s Grant fined, suspended
Quad City’s Triston Grant has been suspended for five games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #708, Quad City at Indy, on Feb. 22.
Grant is suspended for three games for his boarding penalty at 17:12 of the second period and two games for an unpenalized kneeing infraction at 1:32 of the first period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline.
Grant will miss Quad City’s games at Indy (Feb. 23 and Feb. 24), vs. Utah (Feb. 28 and March 2) and at Cincinnati (March 3).

Indy’s Neal fined
Indy’s Michael Neal has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #708, Quad City at Indy, on Feb. 22.
Neal is fined under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline for an attempted slew foot at 5:11 of the first period.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
