ECHL announces fines, suspensions

ECHL announces fines, suspensions

The ECHL on Friday announced the following fines and suspensions resulting from ECHL Game #782, Allen at Idaho, on March 7.

Idaho’s Charlie Dodero has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline. Dodero was assessed a match penalty for an illegal check to the head under Rule #75.2 at 9:09 of the second period.

Dodero will miss Idaho’s games against Kansas City on March 9 and March 10.

Allen’s Bryan Moore has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline. Moore is fined and suspended as the result of a slew-footing infraction at 16:44 of the third period.

Moore will miss Allen’s game at Utah on March 9.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
