Komets advance to Central Division Finals

Komets advance to Central Division Finals

The Fort Wayne Komets earned a spot in the Central Division Finals with a 4-2 win over the Cincinnati Cyclones on Sunday in Game 5 of the Central Division Semifinals.

The Komets rallied back from a 2-1 deficit heading into the third period with goals from Jason Binkley and a pair from Phelix Martineau.

Gabriel Desjardins led the Komets with eight points in the series. Michael Houser went 4-1 with a .906 save perecentage.

Daniel Muzito-Bagenda led the way for the Cyclones with seven points in the Central Division Semifinals.

The Komets will face the Toledo Walleye in the Central Division Finals.
