Mingo returns to Icemen blue line

Jacksonville, Fla. – The Jacksonville Icemen, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Winnipeg Jets and American Hockey League's Manitoba Moose, announced the return of defenseman Dajon Mingo for the 2018-19 season.

The versatile skater has also contributed as a forward in his pro career. For the Icemen, Mingo spent most of his time at the blue line skating in 58 games notching 25 points (6g-19a). Prior to joining Jacksonville, the Canton, Michigan native spent one season each with the Toledo Walleye and Kalamazoo Wings.

Prior to turning pro, the 28-year-old played four years at Bowling Green State University where he collected 44 points (12g-32a) in 107 contests.
