Hamilton agrees to terms with Monarchs

Hamilton agrees to terms with Monarchs

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Manchester Monarchs Head Coach and General Manager Doug Christiansen announced that the Monarchs have re-signed defenseman Rob Hamilton for the 2018-19 season.

The Monarchs are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Los Angeles Kings and the American Hockey League's Ontario Reign.

Hamilton, 24, skated in 23 games for the Monarchs last season, totaling 15 points (4g-11a). Hamilton also played 33 games in the AHL, including 30 with the Springfield Thunderbirds and three for the Laval Rocket, racking up 12 points (1g-11a).

The native of Calgary, Alberta, spent four years at the University of Vermont, where he played in 119 games and racked up 43 points 12g-31a). Since departing from Vermont in 2017, Hamilton has totaled 39 AHL games and 29 ECHL games in his career.
