Monarchs sign defenseman Carlisle

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Manchester Monarchs Head Coach and General Manager Doug Christiansen announced that the Monarchs have signed defenseman Chris Carlisle for the 2018-19 season.

The Monarchs are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Los Angeles Kings and the American Hockey League's Ontario Reign.

Carlisle, 23, returns from playing overseas after skating in 45 games for HC Bolzano of the EBEL during the 2017-18 season, where he racked up 13 points (4g-9a) while recording 32 penalty minutes.  

The native of Fort Lee, New Jersey played two seasons for the AHL's Binghamton Senators from 2015-17, where he totaled 139 games and scored 28 points (7g-21a). Carlisle appeared in two games for the Evansville IceMen during the 2015-16 season and recorded two assists.
